Position Overview

Reedley MB Church is seeking a passionate and spiritually grounded Worship Pastor to lead our church in vibrant, Christ-centered worship. We are a multi-generational church with a weekly attendance of 600 or more with a rich history in music.

The Worship Pastor will work collaboratively with church leadership and the worship team to create a worship experience that glorifies God and aligns with our Evangelical values. This position will lead and oversee all aspects of worship ministry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and direct weekly contemporary worship services, integrating both musical excellence and theological depth, under the direction of senior pastor.
• Foster an atmosphere of worship that invites active participation from the congregation.
• Provide spiritual guidance and discipleship to team members, cultivating a Christ-centered community within the worship ministry.
• Provide leadership to the media and production teams to ensure high-quality sound, video, lighting, and live-streaming for worship services.

Qualifications

• A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Experience in planning, organizing and leading worship services utilizing worship band and praise choir.
• Alignment with the Evangelical values and beliefs of Reedley MB Church.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Worship Ministry, Music, Theology, or related field.
• Proficiency in leading with guitar, piano, or another suitable instrument.
• Knowledge of worship technology and media (sound systems, live streaming, Planning Center, ProPresenter, etc.).

Salary and Benefits Overview

• Position Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Reedley is in the midst of the agricultural fruit basket of the entire world. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available year-around. The city of Reedley is only a 2 1⁄2 hour drive from the Central Coast of California, 1 hour from the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and a similar distance from excellent Christian Camps such as Hartland Christian Camps and Hume Lake. Reedley is home to a Jr College as well as 4-year campuses in Fresno, which is only a 30-minute drive. Reedley represents a rich environment for raising a family and is an affordable housing market within California.
